FABULOUS ANTIQUE JAPANESE CRANES PICTURE WITH MOTHER OF PEARL WINGS ~ GESSO FRAME!

Fresh to us from an estate dispersal, we have this wonderful picture. I am sure that the media has a name, but I am unware of it. We have a black background with drawn birds in gold as well as the reeds that surround them in the water...then each crane has mother of pearl insets for the wings. Very delicate and extremely beautiful piece...framed with a Gesso frame that is in very nice condition, with only minimal evidence of wear and tear. Traditional wood backing as would be standard for the era...and a COPPER hanging wire assembly. Glass is very good with no chips, cracks or mars. Fabulous piece that will add to your decor nicely and a great antique to add to your collection! Measures in at 18 & 3/4" x 12" for the exterior. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment.
