WE HAVE MORE PHOTOGRAPHS BELOW ITEM DESCRIPTION An antique 19thC Japanese Edo period clay & glazed imari pottery Hakata Doll figurine in the form of an Ojiisan (elderly man) holding a Tonkotsu (tobacco box / pipe case) with circular Ojime, unmarked but fantastic detail. (c.1800) OVERALL CONDITION Fair (repaired) - We would remind bidders that this item is antique & pre-owned with associated surface wear, has been repaired at some point in its life as can be seen from the base where there is a hole in the pottery with chipping - as shown above.
