Exquisite bamboo flower arranging basket from Japan. This is signed which is extremely rare for Japanese Baskets. Nice rich red color and lovely patina... comes with original metal liner. T is some damage w handle meets main form at one side.. but otherwise this is in very good condition. The weave on this is tight and intricate and has the earmarks of a master crafter. Any info on the name would be appreciated.
Base is not original to the piece and just used for photos sake. Mouth has roughly 12" diamter.
