Antique "Japanese" Folding Pricket Candlestick - Brass - RARE Up for Auction is a Antique unique and I think rare Japanese folding candle holder. Brass/Bronze? throughout (tested with a magnet and no "metal" whatsoever). "Riveted" together and not screwed. Good condition overall. There was a solder repair made on the disc that holds the candle. Not sure if the "Pricket" is original, seem's to be soldered. Measure's approx. 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" fully closed and 13" high. I purchased this at a prestigious estate auction and left the tag on. From my research this is from the late Quing Dynasty. Also called folding brass traveling candlestick. Please view the photo's, they are an important part of the description. Please ask questions if unsure. I am not a photographer and do not have high end equipment to take perfect pictures.
