PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES...

This is an extraordinary Japanese cloisonne Ginbari or Basse-taille vase. It's vibrantly decorated with fancy goldfish swimming among water plants and the ground is light-pink to dark-green. This is really a masterpiece, it's very difficult to show or describe all its beauty, deepness and the special sense of reality it has. According to its quality, design and colors it must've been done by the famous Nagoya artist Kumeno Teitaro who lived from 1865 to 1939 and specialized in Ginbari technique. Unfortunately, somebody has polished the base as you can appreciate on the picture and t's nothing, no marks or signature to read. The vase has some losses, chips and hair lines, but all are clearly pictured, I've taken many pictures so t are no surprises. It measures 6" tall (15cm). Please review all pictures and ask questions before buying, this is an "as is" sale. You wont easily find a pearl like this one!!!
