THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE BEAUTIFUL FEMALE JAPANESE ICIHIMATSU DOLL W/ORIGINAL BOX ONLY.
This Beautiful Ichimatsu doll is believed to be from the Japanese "Showa" era (1926 - 1989). She has very impressive large brown glass eyes and is made of gofun. A very beautiful face! Her hair is synthetic, but very full and thick. Doll is dressed in her Original Silk Kimono, which is anexquisitely colored red, green, pink, white and gold floral design on a beige background. Doll also has holes in the nostrils, but does not have ears. Although t are two cracks in the seams of EACH forearm (beginning at the wrists), it does not take away from the value or the beauty of this doll. Cracks and fractures are common in antique dolls, and an easy mend by doll collectors. Doll stands a whopping 34 inches tall, and has her original box. Sorry, no squeaker. MAKES A STUNNING IMPRESSION! In the last photo, doll is pictured with her brother, who is listed in a separate auction. The Antique Ichimatsu dolls are highly prized and very expensive in Japan!
