This auction is for a Antique Japanese Ichimatsu Girl Doll. Very old! Doll is from the Japanese "Meiji" era (1868 - 1912). She needs lots of tender loving care (TLC). For those of you who restore antique dolls, this doll offers a lot of potential. She has stunning large brown glass eyes, 4 teeth, a tongue, and a working squeaker box. T are holes in her ears and nostrils. Although t is much peelings on toes and heels, and her right limb became detached, and her cotton hair on the crown of her head came off, her faces doesn't have any scrapes or scratches. Doll restorers, she can be given new synthetic hair, her right limb can be glued back in place, and her feet can be redone, and fitted with doll tabi socks. You can also dress her in a beautiful kimono. Not our specialty, tfore we are selling. Doll comes with original box (box is very old, we had to tape together) and every part of this doll will be delivered to winner (including detached hair). Doll is 32 inches tall.
