This wonderful Netsuke is somewhat unusual since he has open eyes large ears and nose and a large mustache and hairy eyebrows. He looks somewhat theatrical. It maintains its original patina. The carving is exquisitely done. It measures 1 3/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide at its widest. It is in excellent condition. I can find no signature on this Netsuke.
