THIS AUCTION IS FOR ANTIQUE JAPANESE SAMURAI SWORD FITTING OF VERY HIGH QUALITY, 100% ORIGINAL Antique Iron KURIKATA for a KATANA ( a long size Sword) or WAKIZASHI (a short size sword) with gold & silver inlaid designs over a beautiful Iron Patina that almost looks like Shakudo. Of Samurai Warriors with Swords & Armor attacking a Beast Creature such as a Tiger. And it looks like t are Waves, Flames, and a Copper Color Snake also in the inlaid designs... And 2 Vintage Antique Original to the piece Gold Shitdome. Estimated made in EDO Period between 1700 to 1850 century. Size is approximately 3.4 cm in length and 1.6 cm in width with the Shitdome attached. It shows very little wear and it is excellent condition, especially for a piece that is at least a few hundred years old. This is an Original, Not a Reproduction piece . I've owned this piece for many years and I acquired it when I collected Japanese Swords & Armour. At that time which was about 15 years ago this piece was worth some good money. Japanese Kurikata Sword Fittings of this high quality are very scarce to obtain. They are usually attached to Very High Quality Japanese Swords, like High End Tanto Koshirae.
