Lovely Elegant Antique Japanese Silk Embroidered Landscape Sublime river scene with pines and a pagoda style building with birds in the sky. VERY peaceful and calming. Very Zen. Made for export around the turn of the century. Colors have faded over the decades. There are a few small tears to the silk background in the upper right quadrant (see pic) All embroidery is clean and intact. No smells, stains or picks. From a smoke free home. Please note that this is an antique silk piece or artwork which will have some signs of decades of wear. Original frame. Back paper has a tear and exposed some writing inside. I cannot read it and have not exposed any more which may be inside the frame, but there does appear to be more writing inside. Artwork measures 17 1/2 by 12 inches. Buyer pays actual shipping postage only. I do not charge for materials or handling. I will carefully pack this in a sleeved container floating inside a shipping box.
