Antique Japanese Fine Silver (Jungin?) Overlay Glass Decanter & 6 Shot Glasses A UCTION STARTING PRICE: $ 499.95 For Sale : One (1) Set of Antique Japanese Fine Silver (Jungin?) Overlay Glass Decanter & 6 Shot glasses. This set comes with silver overlaid decanter & 6 shot glasses with silver holders shown in the original case w/ red felt. The cork doesn't quite fit all the way in the decanter. The shot glasses are all matching. The pattern is shown from 3 different angles in photo #10. The decanter is ~ 8" tall without the lid. It has a total weight (with lid) of 0.60 kg (~600 grams). The shot glass is ~ 2-1/2" tall inside the silver holder with a ~1-7/8" opening. The silver shot glass holder is ~ 1-7/8". One shot glass with holder has a total weight of 50.8 grams. The silver holder by itself weighs 10.5 grams. We believe the hallmark is the Japanese word for Jungin, meaning pure silver. This is from the Meiji Period (1868-1912). We are not experts in Japanese silversmithing or letters. If we are mistaken on the symbols please contact us through eBay messaging and we will correct or post any mistakes made. This decanter and shot glass set is antique and in excellent condition.
