This is an old Antique Watercolor Painting. I don't know for sure but I think it is Japanese. It is a picture of maybe a small temple or house in the mountains. In the foreground t is a little path leading up the mountain. T are also a lot of trees in the picutre. It is signed in the top left corner but I can't tell you what it says.

The paper that the painting was done on looks like it is probably rice paper. It has a border around the painting that looks and feels like it is probably silk. The whole thing mounted on a backing paper I think as the paper on the back and the paper that is painted on look like they have a different consistency. I may be wrong though. It is hard to tell with the border/matting material.

The entire thing measures about 16" long and about 13 1/2" tall. At sometime during its journey it has gotten a crease lengthwise just north of center (see pic). It will need a skilled hand to do a little restoration. This thing feels really old to me. I would guess pre-turn-of-the-century. That's a guess though. Don't hold me to it. I do know that it has some age.

I will package and ship it flat so t may be a little USPS surcharge for the over 17" packaging. The shipping calculator should be accurate but its no fool proof. If you are interested, email me with your zip code and I will confirm.Package weight is about 1 pound 12 ounces.

Shipping price includes: Actual Shipping Charge, Packaging Materials, and Delivery Confirmation. Insurance if chosen is extra. I only charge for actual cost of shipping and packaging materials.
