Antique Japy Freres French Regulator Mantel Clock I purchased this clock at an Estate Sale. If you look at my listings, you will see that I do not deal in clocks but generally offer wrist and pocket watches so I don't know that much about clocks. I took this to a clock shop and the owner was nice enough to give me some guidance as to what I had purchased as well as a lesson on how to use it and ideas on shipping. He suggested that before I list it, I run it at home to make sure it works as it should. I took his advice and can confirm that it has been running for the past week and is within a few minutes of being accurate. Following is a description, but if I left anything out, or you want more information or photos, please let me know . You are looking at a Japy Freres French 4-glass (Beveled) crystal regulator, in a nice brass case, in very good condition. - The 2 vial FAUX Mercury pendulum is intact. - A key is included. - The hands & dial are in very good condition. Very small spots around key holes - Please zoom in on photo #7 - There is beveled glass on all 4 sides with no cracks or chips. - Measurement: 10 1/4" X 6" X 4 3/4". - Made in France and Japy Freres logo on back plate - The bell strikes on the hour and half hour and works. - It is running and keeping good time but I have no idea when it was last cleaned or
