"John Deere Plow Co"

Cast Iron Farm Bell

We were fortunate to come across this antique bell a while back. Engraved in the yoke is the number 12 and on the claps around the bell is the engraving of

" John Deere Plow Co. Bell 2"

The reverse side has the markings of St. Louis, MO.

The bell measures 16" in diameter

20" from end to end on the holding bracket

23" tall as pictured in the first picture

The style and curvature of this bell places it in the mid to late 1800's. The bell is quite rusted, but is still as loud as when the day it was made! T appears to be some sort of work done on the claps (see pics). The bell is 100% original including the bell itself, the yoke, the claps around the bell, and the hanging ball. T are no major cracks or holes in the bell.

Local pickup from Grand Rapids, MI 49315 or we can also ship this bell to the highest bidder. Buyer is to pay exact cost of shipment (we do not charge handling fees because we simply do not believe in them).

If you have any questions about this unique piece of American history, please dont' hestiate to ask!
