You are bidding on an original John Deere Cotton and Corn Planter. All pieces are original. This would make a wonderful addition to a restaurant displaying farm implements of a bygone era or to add to someone's collection of antique farm equipment. This planter would also make a wonderful yard decoration. Because many of you have asked we wanted to answer some common questions on the listing. This planter is all original parts. T are no cracks or repairs to the cast iron parts. Everything is intact and everything works. We thoroughly checked it out because some folks asked if they could plant with it. The hopper works and the wheel to spin out the seed turns. T is also an original chain that comes with the planter to hook up to a horse to pull it. This is probably one of the most intact corn/cotton planters you will find. As you can see from the photos it does have rust. Hopefully this will answer some questions that many of you have.
