Up for bid is this Antique Tin Girard/Marx Joy Line Venice Gondola Car Circa between 1927 and 1935 We found this in my late grandmothers attic. As you can see in the pictures there is lots of rust showing on the car. Both axles and wheels are intact and roll very well. The couplers are there. I have no knowledge of grading model trains so I would say it needs restoration and a real good cleaning. It was very interesting researching this old train set. In 1935, when Marx bought out Girard, production of the Joy Line ceased. This is truly a rare old train. If anyone has any questions please contact me and Thanks for Looking.
