Up for bid is an antique set of bookends. � Minerva, Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine and war, often equated with Athena of Greek mythology. By Judd, circa 1925, in cast iron (a magnet sticks) with "verde antique finish and bronze head" according to a Judd catalogue as reprinted in Gerald McBride's book on Cast Metal Bookends. Judd's identifying number 9726 is stamped on the backs. � Original felt on the bottoms, bookends have� 2� pieces attached with screws,� original green verde finish. � Measure� 5-7/8" high,� 6 inches across,� 2-1/4 inches deep. � The copper coin part has a little wear, I was able to clean off that black after pictures were taken on her hat. � They could use a good cleaning. � Weighs 6 lbs. without packaging. � � Insurance is included in priority, not included in parcel select. �
