ANTIQUE KAYSERZINN PEWTER CHILD'S CUP/MUG This auction is for a wonderful Kayserzinn Child's Pewter Cup/Mug. This is a early production piece dating 1895-1925. Made by Kayserzinn Pewter factory in Germany. Kayserzinn was one of the top pewter factories in Germany. In 1895 the company started using an oval or round mark stamped Kayserzinn and numbered between 4001 - 4999. This cup has a round mark that has the Kayserzinn stamp then the # 4519, also in the middle between the Kayserzinn stamp and the number is the letter C = and an engraved X. They stopped this number system in 1925. This child's cup/mug of Kayserzinn Pewter will make a nice addition to an existing pewter collection or for the beginning collector. I always considered every Antique and Vintage Piece I ever collected had a past life and sometimes like us they are not perfect, they have a few flaws, a few dents sometimes a crack or two but they have a History and I always wondered what kind. THAT ALWAYS MADE THEM WONDERFUL TO ME, Loved and Used by someone with Love . The design on this cup/mug is very simple and clean looking. It consist of ridges, raised areas and lines. On the footed bottom on each side are 3 small circles. As I said very simple in design. The handle is very pretty as you can see in my photos. Please enlarge photos to see full beauty of this small piece of very collectible Kayserzinn Pewter. The size of this cup/mug is as follows : 2 1/2" in height (not counting handle), 2 1/2" in diam., 3 1/8" in height if you count the handle. The weight is 6.2 oz. or 180 g. This wonderful mug only has two small flaws in the pewter finish --one you can see them both in photo # 4 and t is also a little wear to the finish on the handle but this is only slight and hard to see. All in All this child's cup/mug is in excellent condition. The patina is very pretty on this piece. The inside is spotless. I will always answer all questions about my pieces up for auction and if I do not know the answer I will say so. I am always on site 1 hour and most of the time 2 hours before the auction ends. Please ask for more information if you are unsure or have doubts before bidding as I do have a Refund Policy ---- do not bid if you are unsure about this piece ---- I will give refunds only if I fail in my descriptions of a piece, if I missed a flaw you can not live with, if I was dishonest about the age or condition of the piece, or if I fail to answer your questions before auction ends (must be asked at least 5 minutes before auction ends). "No International Refunds so please be sure before bidding and if you have any doubts about the piece, ask questions before bidding and do not bid if you did not get the answer you wanted". I take care of my bedridden Saint of a Mother and emergencies may arise. It has only happened once but it can happen. I do want my Bidders and Winners to be Happy -- I hate Unhappiness and will try my best for you always. I do expect the same fairness from you the Winner, I will always give to you. If you do want to return a piece to me, you must contact me within the first 2 days after you receive the piece and we will decide together if you are entitled to a refund. In the case of you being entitled , you must ship the piece back to me on the third day with me paying shipping and insurance charges (not including week-ends or holidays). I prefer Pay Pal but will except your money order if you have 20 positive *stars* so please let me know if you are paying with a money order by eBay e-mail. I will send an invoice at the end of the auction. International Bidders must pay via Pay Pal Only, no money orders. If feed-back is not received within 5 days of you receiving the piece, I will contact you to make sure the piece arrived safely and you are pleased --- as I am that kind of seller!
