I believe that this pretty red kerosene oil lamp font is English in origin but it is not marked other than on the burner.It reads J Wippell & Co.Manufactured Abroad,Exeter,which is in England.It has the style burner that would take a chimney with a lip on the bottom and it measures 3-3/16" in diameter w the chimney fits and the overall heighth is about 7-1/2".The font measures about 5" in diameter and is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks and the knob on the bottom measures about 3/4" long.T is a slight dent in the brass on one side but nothing that bad.This beautiful red font would look nice on a white marble base.
