This is an early 20th Century Antique Telephone Made in Denmark Kjobenhavns Telefon Aktieselskab (KTAS) Headset is made by BLM Ericsson & Co. Stockholm Patented Oct. 29, 1895 This telephone is in original used condition. It has never been fiddled with or cleaned. It is dirty and old, and is a little bit of a project to make it a very nice display piece. Great original graphics on this phone. This phone needs a very solid cleaning, and to be waxed, and it will look great. The pictures are very accurate as to the condition, please pay close attention. There are scratches and wear. The cords are tattered and old. The headset cord is totally disconnected from the phone. They need replacement, or at least take off the outer sheath to leave a decent looking braided inner core for display. If you go this way the headset cord needs to be re-attached at the base of the phone. The red button on the top of the phone is slightly mashed down from someone hard pressing over the years (still works and looks fine). With some good clean up, this phone looks great on your table. Nice style old phone. This phone has no graphics on the side panels. My Dad used to put a nice flowery decal on these panels to really make these phones pop. You can do the same.
