Made by: The M C Lilley & Co., Columbus Ohio from about 1882 to 1923. Shows signs of age, use and wear.
Sword is in good condition with beautiful details, (see photos).
The pommel depicts a knight's head. The grip is an ivory color with a stylized cross.
Engraved with the owner's initials on the grip.
Knuckle guard shows a crowned figure's head.
Grip has a little looseness feel to it but appears secure.
The blade of the sword is ornate and depicts crusader scenes.
T is an engraved name on the sword blade.
The sheath is gold-toned and indicates the sword belonged to a United States Commander.
Leather scabbard is in pliable condition. It has some split stitching at the edges and is mising the handle and a few small sections of leather And is marked with the owners name and lodge.
Comes with a cotton cloth scabbard liner.
Length of the sword is about 35 inches.
Length of the sheath is about 29 inches.
Length of the scabbard os about 38 inches.
