A truly beautiful piece. Scabbard and sword are gold etched with previous owner's name- Harry K. Reirroelil.

Sword fits nicely in scabbard.

Sword has beautifully gold etched designs featuring knights on crusade and the skull and crossbones with the motto - "Memento Mori" - a reminder of mankind's mortality.

Blade is marked in gold etching with, "Germany" and "The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus, Ohio"

All of the design on the sword blade is etched in gold. All etching is in great condition with no scratches or blemishes.

Grip features classical hand-engraved designs - cross, crown and owner's initials – H.K.R.

There is a small thin line in the hanel that runs along one side of the cross.

The pommel features a Knight's helmet.

The scabbard has a cross in red enamel (is chipped) and inside of a crown, features many Masonic symbols. It does state around the cross in the crown the following: “BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH & I WILL GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIFE” Light tarnish and some minor pitting.

Overall length is approx. 34-1/2". Sword itself is approx. 32-1/2".
