Hello! Thanks for looking at my auction, and I appreciate your time. Please see my other Antique Advertising Stoneware Whiskey Jug that I have listed from New Orleans, Louisiana. U.S. shipping for this jug is $17.99 double boxed. I pack well and mail about once per week. Please see pictures, read description and ask questions before bidding. I will describe this item to the best of my ability and this sale is final as is. Now for the Good Part---This is an Antique Original Advertising Stoneware Whiskey or Liquor Jug from the Very Small Tennessee Town of Adamsville (home of Sheriff Buford Pusser---"Walking Tall" It has been in a long-time Collection. This jug is Different---it is off-white to white in Color with Bright Cobalt Blue Ring or Band on shoulder and Stencil or Name. It is a Gallon size. It stands about 10 1/4 inches tall and about 6.5 inches across at base. It reads: B.L. KEMP.---MERCHANT---ADAMSVILLE, TENN. It just has 2 chips or flakes on lip---which is common for Old Stoneware Jugs. Sometimes this happens in-making and sometimes it happens through the years of bumping. Both of these chips are Old---you can see the areas have darkened with age. The smaller one is very shallow and is on top of lip. The other one is on side of lip. These could easily be repaired, if you would like. NO cracks or hairlines to jug. The Advertising or Wording is Crude. It is smeared a little. This was done in-making when it was applied before it was Glaze Fired. This is a Very Desirable Jug.
