Antique Lacquered Brass W.Watson & Sons Boxed Microscope. Superb Lacquered brass late 19th century microscope by W.Watson & Sons of 313 High Holborn London. This stunning microscope is completely fresh to the market having been recently cleared from a good local house were it has clearly been stored & looked after perfectly over the years. Condition as you can see is absolutly superb, the mirror is excellent with non of the usual spotting & the lacquer work is the best i have seen with only minor signs of wear completly commensurate with light general use only. Everything on the microscope works works perfectly & all the controls are perfect & smooth. A beautiful microscope presented in it's original mahogany case which does show signs of wear & tear but has protected the microscope very well over the years. No key. Fully extended in the upright position it is 18 inches high, the case is 12 3/4 x 8 x 7 inches. Total weight is over 4.1 kilos so please check the shipping costs prior to bidding as they are high.
