i000000 Antique Large Fench Hand Adze Axe Ax with Poll Old Tool You are bidding on a very nice example of a vintage Large French Made Hand Adze Head with Octagonal Poll in very good condition. 4 3/8" wide at tip; 11" long head including 1 1/4" x 1 3/8" tapered poll with chamfered corners. I have ground a clean sharp edge on my cold water grindstone so temper is good, needs only a final hone. As nice an adze as you could hope to find.
