Up for bid is this antique camera by The National Camera. It has a Beck Symmetrical Lens in it.Now what I know about cameras you could write on the head of a pin. I will tell you as much asI know and let the pics do the rest. It comes with a what I would guess to be a plate carrier. It has a glass plate in it and has a name and address written in it along with a date of Nov 1909. I don't know if that is the name of the owner of the camera or a client this photographer was working with at the time. It does not have any rips in the folding part and has all sorts of adjustment wheels on it. It has a lot of brass trim and it does open in the back w the glass plate is. I couldn't find anything on the company so maybe it was made outside the US like England or some place. If anyone knows anything about this camera I would appreciate hearing from you. It looks too big to be carrying about so I would guess it might have had a stand of some sort from the looks of the bottom. It measures approx 9 1/2" tall at the back and stretches out on a track. Please email questions and I will try and help as all sales are final. Buyer pays shipping, handling, insurance. U. S. SALES ONLY.
