Very cool golden juggler nodder. I think he is porcelain. He is hollow and his head seems almost like glass. He is painted gold gilt on outside more of a silver inside. The arms have a pin that goes through the forearm and has a weight that looks like a ball of lead on the end. He is 9" high and 9" wide. The ultimate nodder. He has great facial features, and beautiful robe. Bought at antique auction in the middle of Illinois. T is a number painted in black on the bottom 6470, it is the only mark I see. But I found a simular one that was made by Ardalt in the style of a Meissen. I like this guy's hair a bit more, it isn't a solid style like Ardalt , he has a loop. Also his face is different. Should be from the 1930's or before. He is in super condition no cracks or chips. I just love this guy and hope he finds a good home. That's it good luck. Check out my other items !
