I am happy to offer for auction a spectacular and most beautiful Royal Crown Derby #3615 rectangular serving platter or tray. It features the ever popular cobalt blue, orange and gold imari pattern, so rich, so royal. It measures approx. 13 1/2x10 1/4". The backstamp reads "Royal Crown Derby England. T is also an impressed Derby Crown mark. The cypher on this tray indicates it was produced around 1911/1912/1913. It appears that part of the cypher could be missing; I can't see it in my Royal Crown Derby book. This tray or platter is as almost as good as the day it was produced; very minimal wear if any considering its is over 90 year of age; obviously its spent a good life; the gold gilding is bright and beautiful. This set was originally purchased in Eastern Canada (Ottawa) and I am presently offering other trays, plates, tureens in the same pattern. The photographs are a little mottled but this is simply the fault of the camera. The porcelain is a glistening white with beautiful painted hand decorations trimmed with gold; an exquisite and rare pattern. Excellent condition for age, I cannot see any chips, cracks or crazing; a significant downsizing at my house; being sold as is. S&H is at the expense of the buyer. Payment is via Paypal, International Money order.
