This is a charming, framed Early Victorian Hand Crafted Needlepoint depicting a hunting dog in a field with cottages in the background.. We believe this piece to be English in origin, however it could be American... Frame may or may not be original but is from the early 1900's which we believe is the same time period for the needlepoint... Frame dimensions are approximately 23 3/4" by 20 1/8", the dimensions of the needlepoint as measured inside the frame are about 14 3/8" by 18".... There is about an additional 9" of needlepoint which is wrapped around the back side of the piece, this can be seen clearly in the photos provided.. Condition is time worn and somewhat tattered, but the piece has a great look.. There are several areas where the fabric, which appears to be wool, is missing, however for the most part the dog scene in the center, which is the main focus of the piece is intact. We have provided several close up photos to show the condition of the textile, please consider these photos part of the description... The frame is in good condition, however also shows signs of wear, there are some chips on the gold gilded matte or filet, and some corner chips on the frame itself and some expected corner seam separation... Buyer to pay $35.00 shipping/insurance within the lower 48 states... We accept Paypal payments only, Thank
