Antique Stained Leaded Glass window was salvaged from a turn-of-the-century estate home. The OLD clear glass is "ridged" and appears to be similar to what we now call "privacy" glass. T are 2 areas that need repair. Both are cracks approx. 1" that are in the clear ridged glass - no breaks or cracks to the stained glass areas. Minor repairs could be accomplished by running a bead of lead on both side of the glass or by replacing the ridged clear glass. If it would help in repairing - I have available pcs. of the exact same clear ridged glass that I salvaged from a similar window that had been broken beyond repair and I could provide these for you if you request them. Overall measures 49-1/2" height x 39-1/2" wide x 2" thick. (Actual glass area without the wood frame measures 45"h. x 35-1/4" w.). The home this was salvaged from was an architectural treasure. The home known as the Riley House (Thomas S. Riley) in Wheeling, WV, was built in 1910 by important Wheeling architect F.F. Faris. It was demolished in 2006 - but much of the fantastic woodwork was salvaged including dentil molding, crown molding, baseboard, wainscot, handrail, spindles, leaded glass transom windows, stained glass windows, pocket doors, cabinet doors and fireplace mantles.
