Estate Treasure Up for auction is an antique leather bound Family Holy Bible. There is not a publication date listed but deaths and marriages that were listed (all but 2 in pencil) date from 1891 to 1940. This Bible is filled with maps, etching, and study aids. The etchings are beautiful. The leather cover is in very good condition with some minor wear on the edges of the spine at top and bottom. The pages are all bound tightly but the cover binding has come undone in the front and most of the way in the back. It measures 12-1/4" tall, 10" wide and 2-1/2" thick. There are 877 pages plus 145 pages of maps, study aids, indexes, and concordance. This Bible contains the Old and the New Testaments translated out of the Original Tongues and with former translations diligently compared and revised. It is a self-pronouncing edition and was published by The Southwestern Co. out of Nashville, TN. Thanks for looking and good luck.
