Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this antique, Leather Horse Collar complete with Metal Harness Hames. Circa 1880's-1920's This great-looking old collar was a "Barn Find" from an old farm estate in Southern Iowa and was covered with dust and cobwebs when found. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for display in any rustic setting. As you can see in the pictures, there is a small hole in the leather that show some of the straw filling and bit a place where the leather is worn just below the hole- this was cause by harness lines rubbing on the colar. The overall condition of this collar is still good- everything solid and it is not leaking out filling. It measures roughly 29 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Not too much else to add, it’s just a nice old piece of farm/ western décor from the horse-drawn days that’ll look great in any rustic setting.
