Hi, I have an antique leather holdall for sale. I believe it to be an officers campaign piece. ( I have had similar previously ) It has a quality brass fastener which allows a padlock to be applied. A leather strap runs through a series of loops to maintain security. There are four metal studs on each corner of the base. Internally it is in good antique condition. Externally there are odd marks as you would expect. The handles are secure but one strap ( photographed ) has a little loss to the stitching. The base measures 49cms x 37cms. The bag will obviously pack larger than this. I packed the bag to photograph. Could sure tell some stories! Thanks for looking.
