Here is a beautiful antique three legged raised teakettle for sitting on a hearth. It has cast iron legs and a long cast iron handle, The body and spout are copper laid over brass, with a dovetail join. It looks to have had a fair amount of use, and it has dents and dings to show for it, but it still displays well. Measures 11 3/4" across with handle, 9" across from side to tip of its hinged covered spout, about 10 1/4" high to its scroll finale on top of lid, and the three legs are each about 7 1/4" apart.
