DESCRIPTION SHIPPING PAYMENT VISIT MY STORE ABOUT US Antique LEWIS MITTMAN Designer King Size Sleigh Bed NR Click Images to Enlarge DESCRIPTION THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on a BIG & BEAUTIFUL Designer King Size Sleigh Bed. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and came right from the famous D & D Building in New York City w designers from ALL OVER THE WORLD come to shop. This piece was VERY WELL made by Lewis Mittman Furniture Co who makes some of the FINEST in case goods the market has to offer. This piece is still being made and is Model No. BH9717-QT on their website. Pieces like these are VERY HARD to find on the secondary market and can only be bought through a decorator. It sits on beautifully curved legs at the front and back with beautifully scrolled top rails on both the headboard and footboard. The sides have beautifully embossed Satin rope brocade trim going throughout the edges and beautiful tassels at the top of each side as shown in the photos. It also comes with 2 twin boxsprings which were also made by Lewis Mittman which have the nice matching suede / velvet fabric on the edges of both as well so all you will need is the king mattress so you dont have to spend any additional monies on boxsprings as this is ALL INCLUDED. The bed is a TRUE DESIGNER PIECE and beautifully tufted and I am not sure of the exact fabric but it seems like velvet or something like suede but not exactly sure. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is somewhat older so it has some minor imperfections on it and will need to be professionally cleaned but overall its in excellent shape. This piece overall measures approx 83 1/2 inches wide and 105 inches long. The headboard is approx 44 1/2 inches high and the footboard is approx 27 1/2 inches high.
