This wonderful old antique scalloped Chippendale style paper mache tray came from my mother's estate. She was an avid collector of many fine antiques. The back has been painted over many years ago, and t is some touch up paint on the front, but I believe this was done a long time ago. I have had they tray for about 15 years. I believe it is either a Japan tray or possibly a French tray...not sure. The warm colors of reds, golds, & mustard are on a black background. It measures approx. 21" wide x 13" tall. It has so much charm and a great style ! Would be perfect for hanging on a wall or using on a stand or ottoman as a tray table. It is is great condition for its age, with minimal chippy spots around the edge. It would guess this to be from the 30's or 40's. All items sold "as is", and the pictures speak for themselves. This is a wonderful old tray with lots of warmth & style ! Flat rate shipping to lower US 48 states is $12.00 plus required insurance. Thanks for looking !
