You are bidding on a rare copy of "The Life And Deeds Of General Sherman, including the Story Of His Great March To The Sea" by Henry Davenport Northrop. This book was printed in 1891 as a memorial edition upon the occasion of Sherman's death. The book is fully bound, with clean unmarked pages throughout, and even some of the gilt covering is still present. Contains no loose pages or sections. Illustrated with many drawings and lithographs. In very good shape for being 119 years old! Usually only found in rare book collections, universities, or museums. From a smoke-free home.
