Antique Limbert Armchair We have had a shop open to the public selling antique Arts & Crafts and Mission furniture, antique Oriental rugs, and other decorative items for over 20 years. We are located in Central PA approximately 3 hours from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington DC. We welcome your visit to our shop to examine or pick up any items for sale on eBay. ------------------------------- Description: This is a nice antique Limbert armchair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a newer fumed finish. It has excellent form with slats at the back and under the arms. The arms are slightly curved and have pinned through tenons and are also corbelled. The chair is very thick and heavy and is double pinned at the top and bottom and has a recovered original spring seat. The chair is signed under the arm and is very decorative and usable.
