I wish I knew my china pieces as I have many in my cabinets I want to sell. I used to have a large collection of antique pieces with purple Violets. That was my thing. I have since changed over to roses and these very pretty pieces sit in my closed cabinets. If any of you out t that read this know anything and want to share with me , I would be grateful to you. I just don't really know if this is a candy dish , or what??????? It is in style of French Limoges. The marking on the bottom looks like # but with 3 lines instead of 4. The painting is totally gorgeous. Violets and greenery. edges. Approx. 9 x 11 " in side with a handle in the center. All edges are scalloped and edged in gold. The condtion is average. Not perfect. A few flea bites on the bottom and now after all of this time I see a hairline. Darn it. Never noticed that before. Oh well, still beautiful. Really too pretty to use. Hope you know more then I do on this piece. Thanks for looking and stop back soon. I am going to be listing several pieces from my Violets collection. Janet p.s.
