This is a fabulous ornate antique Coiffe Limoges (circa 1891-1914) 21 piece chocolate or coffee set handpainted with lovely pink and yellow roses and other groupings of other unidentified flowers in pastel colors with nicely detailed green leaves and vines. The set includes a chocolate or coffee pot which stands 8 and 1/2" tall (including the lid) and 8 and 1/2" from tip of the spout to back of the handle. The large creamer is 5 and 3/8" tall. The sugar bowl is enormous and is perhaps for chocolate sticks or powder and not sugar and measures 7" across the handles and 6" in overall height. T are 8 cups and saucers, cups measure 2 and 1/2" tall and the same in diameter. Saucers measure 5" across. The surface of the porcelain is paneled on all of the pieces except the saucers which have scalloped or softly spiked rims. Most impressive is the art nouveau curved handles on the pot, creamer, sugar or ? and the handles on all of the cups. This is something you very rarely see. The set has a dusting of gold on the rims and handles. The only damage I was able to find was a repair to the lid on the pot. T are no other chips, cracks or repairs to any of the pieces. T is some minor wear to some of the gold, mainly on the rims of the saucers and on the handle and spout of the pot. PLEASE email for any further info or photo.
