Antique Victorian Shaving Mug

No Cracks or Chips, Wear to Lettering
Standard Size, Not Miniature
Fresh from a Pennsylvania estate, 's a beautiful antique shaving mug with spectacular hand painted flowers and leaves. With it comes an antique wooden handle shaving brush (horsehair bristle?). The cup bears the mark of CFH / GDM France, for Haviland Limoges -- made likely in 1891 or very close tabouts; the CFH / GDM marks are the initials of partners Charles Field Haviland and Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel.

The decoration has gold detailing and minimal wear but the name within the banner is fairly faint and hard to read -- John Boyd, Foyd, Loyd... Can't tell for sure. No cracks or breaks! Stands about 3 1/4" tall. Beautiful!

I package with great care, ship at least 2-3 times per week.

Most items ship US Priority Mail but books, magazines, music can ship by CHEAP Media Mail.
Happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases!
Very large items can be shipped by UPS, FedEx or Greyhound Express depending on the particular item.
Pickup is always welcome on large items.
