Up for your consideration is an antique, hand painted, Limoges jardiniere/planter/vase. It was made by A. Klingenberg, circa early 1880s - 1890s. It has the green A.K. France mark on the bottom which was used after 1891. It is artist signed, A.M.O. with 1896 and what looks like Seattle. Part of the lettering is a bit rubbed out, so it is hard to read. It is hand painted with lovely pink & yellow roses that have wonderful depth & detail. It has accents of gold throughout the design and along the edge of the lovely scalloped top. It is 6"tall & 7" wide. T is no crazing or cracks. T is one small chip along the top edge, but it is very hard to see because it blends in with the paint. This beautiful piece of Limoges has been in my husbands family for over 100 years, but we are willing to part with it so someone else can enjoy it.
