~~~ Antique Limoges 1896-1904 ~~~ Our demitasse cup and saucer are a matched set of antique Limoges porcelain manufactured in France more than 100 years ago! This rare set is double marked with the old, red LS&S importer's mark as well as the Laviolette maker's mark. Both pieces are in outstanding antique condition ~ absolutely free of chips, cracks or repairs ~ it appears as if it was never used!! ~~~ PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO ENJOY ALL OF OUR PHOTOGRAPHS ~~~ Hand-applied, red enamel decorates the rim of the cup and saucer. The intricate gold scroll work gives the appearance of gold lace! The cup is egg-shell thin with a perfect little golden handle. Both cup and saucer have been decorated with a purple iris and floral theme. This is one of the most elegant sets we have had the pleasure to offer. It would make an excellent Holiday gift or perfect addition to your own collection. The cup measures about 2 inches tall by 2 inches; the saucer measures 4 1/4 inches.
