~~~ Delinieres & Co. France 1894-1900 ~~~ Our spectacular Cabinet Plate is antique Limoges porcelain manufactured AND factory decorated by D & Co. in France more than 100 years ago! It is double marked bearing both the Deliniers white ware Mark 3 and the rare Deliniers decorator's Mark 5 in red script. Although Remy Deliniers began his porcelain business in the 1860s and had many associates along the way, he did not add a decorating studio to his factory in 1881. As a result, this particular decorator's mark was only used for six years and is rarely seen today. {{ Please excuse the red glare in our photos ~ the Limoges porcelain is very glossy and it is reflecting the color of the fabric under the plate in our photograps ~ this plate is flawless!! }} Clearly the work of his studio artists was magnificent! You will not be disappointed in this piece. It is one of the most opulent display plates we have ever offered on eBay. It may be fairly described as in Excellent Condition. It is absolutely free of chips, cracks or repairs. Despite its antique status of 100+ years of age, this stunning plate appears brand new in person! ** Please Scroll Down for More Photographs ** Note the fancy gold-beaded edge. If you look closely, you will see an embossed, pearl-like pattern in the Limoges clay that has been heavily gilt with gorgeous gold. Look how the hand-applied enamel highlights glisten on several of the pink rose petals. This plate is truly a superior example of the antique French Limoges porcelain ~ no detail has been overlooked!! As you may know, cobalt and gold were among the most expensive raw ingrediatents used to decorate these plates. In addition, manufacturing them was very labor intensive and similar to the "Feu de
Four" double-firing process used by Haviland. Even 100 years ago ridiculously expensive dinner ware had a small client base. As a result, a very limited number of plates such as this were made. Even fewer are in circulation today adding to their rarity and desirability. NO Reserve Auction ~ Highest Bid Wins!! T is no question that this piece will increase in value over the years to come. Measuring 9 1/2 inches across, it could easily become the center piece of any advanced Limoges collection. Remember, you have to bid to win and this is a NO Reserve auction! This fabulous collector's item will go to the Highest Bidder no matter what the bid!!! Do not miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity to add a truly remarkable treasure to your collection. As always, you may bid with confidence, your satisfaction is guaranteed. Kindly email questions before bidding. Winning Bidder agrees to complete this transaction within ten days or this plate just might be offered to the Second Highest Bidder or relisted for Sale. ** We Offer Expedited Shipping at No Extra Charge **
