Delinieres & Company France 1894-1900 Rare & Gorgeous! Cabinet Plate 9 3/4 Inches Our spectacular Cabinet Plate is antique Limoges porcelain manufactured AND factory decorated by D & Company in France more than 100 years ago! Double marked, it bears the Deliniers white ware Mark 3 and the rare Deliniers decorator's Mark 5 in red script. Although Remy Deliniers began his porcelain business in the 1860s and had many associates along the way, he did not add a decorating studio to his factory in 1881. This particular decorator's mark was only used for six years and is rarely seen today. Clearly the work of Deliniers' studio artists was magnificent! This is one of the most opulent display plates we have ever offered. It may fairly be described as in Mint-like, Excellent, Antique Condition. It is absolutely free of chips, cracks or repairs. Despite its age, this stunning plate appears brand new in person! Please excuse the red glare in our pictures ~ this plate is flawless in person! Cobalt and gold were among the most expensive raw materials. Manufacturing these plates was very labor intensive too. The manufacturing was similar to the "Feu de Four" double-firing process made famous by Haviland. Delicate hand applied, enamel highlights glisten on several of the pink rose petals. The gold is fabulously elaborate and in tact. This plate is a superior example of antique French Limoges porcelain ~ no detail has been overlooked!! Kindly email questions before purchase. Winning Bidder agrees to complete this sale within ten (10) days or this gorgeous plate may be offered to our Second Highest Bidder. COMBINED SHIPPING AVAILABLE
