Antique Limoges Porcelain Trinket Box. Scalloped shape measures 3-5/8 inches wide by 2-1/8 inches deep and is 1.5 inches tall. Blue with floral design encased by embossed gold tone metal, Hinge on back and works perfectly. Gold floral leaf pattern inside of box on lid and bottom,. Backstamp says Limoges Porcelaine de Vincennes, France. This backstamp has not been found in any books after hours of research. Best we can place it is from 1880-1920; this could certainly be the case as this box has been in our family for generations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
