ANTIQUE ORIGINAL

EARLY 1770s to early 1800s

TRENCHER

28-1/2"Long- X -11-1/8"Wide- X -4-1/4" Tall

This Trencher was found in a northern N/H Estate. It is all original and has a Wonderfull PATINA.It is made in the classic New England style, it is a heavy dense wood, and weighs ---6lbs 5oz---

There is 1 small repair to the top rim (see photo) it is a very early repair and done very well,very hard to see but there (see photos)this does NOT extend into the bowl proper.And looks to have been there a very long time and appears to be stable. This is normal in early trenchers and bowls, and you will very often repairs.THERE IS NO CONCEALED DAMAGE TO THIS TRENCHER--

IN ALL THIS IS A SUPER ORIGINAL EARLY late 1700s to early 1800s TRENCHER

Note all original tool marks showing age.

also note the light marks in the bowl are from the finish worn thru and the wood below is not damaged in any way

This is a wonderfull trencher with a glowing PATINA
