2290. Keyhole shaped case with a bombe base sitting on bun feet and the hood with elaborate carving and finials. An exceptionally good quality oak case with bevelled glass door and side panels showing the brass weights and pendulum. The 13 inch white dial with painted makers name, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, enclosed behind a spun brass bezel. The 8 day movement striking the hours on a coiled gong has been cleaned and seviced.
