18th Century Louis Phillipe Armoire and custom-made cabinet insert. Armoire was originally purchased from The Whimsey Shoppe in Dallas. The finish has a warm, glowing patina. It is a great piece of furniture...Just too big for our new home. Pictures do not do justice to this beautiful antique.Dimensions: 7'6" H x 4'9" W x 2'0" D The original hardware is still intact. In fact, the signature of the cabinet maker is clearly visible on the inside of the crown. The custom-made insert was designed to maintain the piece's integrity and quality. The free floating insert contains eight drawers - four on each side. Two of the drawers have dividers. T is also a shelf that goes in the top section. The back of the insert is cutout to accomodate a television or wiring. With the doors closed, this armoire makes a great statement. When you open the doors, the insert provides a practical side to the beauty. The armoire is available for local pick up only.
