You are bidding on an Antique Lawyers Stacking Barrister Bookcase Set. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s and is Circa 1920 and maybe earlier and is American made. It was VERY WELL made and labeled by Maceys which is one of the popular companies that have made these which have become highly collectable and sought after. This is a 5 piece set with a bottom base, the top and the 3 sections. It sits on beautifully curved and flat recessed base. One of the units is a larger and more rare unit10-13 3/4 and the rest is 10-11 3/4 as you will see in the pictures below and also says Finish No. 22.. Each unit has glass doors with pull handles that slide up and inside of the cabinet. Its made of a beautiful exotic flame crotch naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This piece is a VERY HARD find and because of its size it can be used in a office or study, dining room, or a living room, or in the hallway or foyer and anyw else throughout your home as a beautiful accent piece that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique that so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age and it does have an aged finish and patina and a bit scuffed up and can use some touching up throughout as its ALL ORIGINAL but overall this piece is in excellent shape. It measures approx 35 1/4 inches wide, 46 inches high and approx 12 inches deep.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
